Question #1: What is the difference between being a vegetarian and a vegan. I have heard vegetarians say "I'm not a damn vegan, I'm avegetarian."

I'm confused.

Question #2: Is it okay to eat the beef and chicken flavored Top Ramen?? I figured it's not meat, it's just seasoning.

Vegans wont touch anything made from or containing animal products. So not just meat but eggs, dairy, pretty much everything. At least I think.

Vegetarians just don't eat meat and also some vegetarians still eat fish.
Vegans don't eat anything that originated from an animal like all meat including seafood, honey, lard, gelatin and dairy products.
Vegans basically eat fruits, grains, vegetables, beans and vegan products like vegan burgers and hot dogs.
Vegetarians and vegans don't eat the beef/chicken flavored packets because they're not sure how its made, they'll most likely just eat the mushroomor vegetable flavored soups.
