Quick Blackberry/iPhone question Vol. all you nerds enter

So I got my bros old 3g iphone and I have a BB bold

When I put the BB Bold simcard in the iphone I dont have any data only voice

Would I need to unlock or jailbreak the phone so I can use my BB sim card?

or would I have to call att and tell them to switch my BB data plan to the iphone data plan?

The data plans for the iPhone and BB are different, you cannot swap SIM cards and keep the data going.

Get the data on the BB, and use the iPhone when you have wi-fi and such.
