Quick computer related question.

I have a hard drive on my computer that wasn't originally formatted correctly. 150 GB are not being used on the drive. It shows as unallocated. I basicallyjust want the other half of the D drive to be formatted so i can get the other 100+ GB without losing the data thats already on the drive. is this possible?
