I just got a new computer and i have a fear of plugging my ipod into it to add new music on...is there a way to add music onto my ipod without deleting all5,000 tracks i have on it already???

Ipods can only sync to one itunes at a time...unless u get the program that takes songs off the ipod and transfers them to ya comp, u are in trouble

i have like 30gb of music...i dont know if my new comp can take it

check the 'manually manage songs' option in itunes

if you're trying to add new music to your ipod that has a play list that isnt currently on the PC it will erase whats on the ipod

yes. or at least i have been able to in the past. the only time i've had my library deleted was when itunes was in autosync.
