I was looking at my boxes of sneakers sorting through and what not when I noticed how on the side of my 99' metallic Vs box it says "A portion of the proceeds from this purchase of Jordan products support educational initiatives." Does JB do this anymore since it is not labeled on the new box? Maybe it is just implied now. I know JB does a bunch of charity sneakers and events, but i was just wondering why it isn't on the box anymore. Thanks Fam in advance

I'm sure they do still but they probably just don't flash it on the box.

Ever since my daughter was born (September 2010), I have had to change my perspective on buying them. I've missed out on all releases so far this year, but if I can't catch them when they release, I just let them make it. Like a few of you have mentioned, I am considering selling some of my older retros and OGs. I still remember how easy it used to be to get a pair, but it takes a bit more effort to get the popular releases unless you have a hookup.

^what are you talking about?

what does "educational initiatives" even mean? i used to joke that it was basically pleading to pay for his own kid's college fund, but i think it was just a way jb tried to counter human rights/poor employment conditions in china criticisms.

What??? This has absolutely nothing to do with anything
Im sure they still do mostly all major companies give back in some way

Ya I would say it is just implied now and JB still makes those contributions.

I doubt it, If you think about Its his money he could do whatever he want his cash flow.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that happened...

I thought about the same thing OP. Anyone know anything? It would be nice to know some part of our selfishness for shoes helps someone around the world...
