Quick Question about iTunes

has anyone backed up their iTunes library?? is it possibly to use that back up to upload all your music from one computer to another?

Also how many discs would it take to do it...

.. youre really planning on burning all of your music for the sake of backing up?... copp an external HDD and call it a day.

I was hoping somehow by using iTunes back up program it would format all the music to fit onto one disk

but naw its not for backing up, i just got a new laptop and wanted to transfer the music over

if youre on Windows, there is a folder called "iTunes" in your Music folder.. make sure you move that along with all of your other mp3s (this savesyour playlists, play-count, album covers, etc to your new PC).
