Quick question about NL Playoff Scenario

Can't find a thread for this directly, but I have a question for the NL Playoff scenario.

If the Padres and Braves both win today, there is a 3 way tie between Padres, Giants, and Braves for 2 slots(NL West and Wildcard).  The Padres would play the Giants first monday for the West although the Padres own the tiebreaker.  Why is the tiebreaker not taken into consideration in this situation?  It would make more sense that Padres would be in and Giants/Braves play for Wildcard.  Just don't understand why the tiebreaker isn't taken into consideration in this case.  Thanks for any clarification.

The tiebreaker does come in.

Because San Diego owns the head-to-head matchup, the hypothetical Game 163 between the Giants/Padres will be played in San Diego.

Ok, I guess I think it should come into play where San Diego gets it outright and the Braves and Giants just play for the Wildcard.

Giants win the WC because of the head to head match-up

By that logic it really does seem like if the teams are tied after today, the Padres should win the division due to head-to-head.

Edit: Sorry, I meant if the Braves also win.
