i thought all vii had cardboard under the insoles?

please dont call these raptors anymore. call em "playoffs" or something, since he actually wore these in the playoffs. sorry, no offense, but when i hear the word "raptors" it really gets under my skin.

@Orthotic... I think Raptor's suits them fine. Some people call these the Bulls colorway, but to to me looks nothing like it. Just do you lol

I notice in my ftlotg 7's, 6's(oreos, pistons & doernbecher), and uni 9's have the cardboard insoles but not in my uni 2's

Best to just call them the Bulls DMP VII
MANY companies will place this cardboard like material in the footbed of the shoes. It's just something used in manufacturing. The shoes are still real and still have the same cushioning aspects. Phylon midsole, air unit, cushioned sockliner. Really it's not a big deal.

They basically use it to help bind the shoe together. 1999 AJ 4's had them as well. I remember pulling it back to expose the air unit in the heel.

i really dont know what kind of playoffs YOU were watching, but he actually did wear these in the '92 postseason since he only wore his white shoes during the regular season. Take a look:
