Why do some versions have the jumpman facing towards the front of the shoe, and some towards the back of it? Is there a reason why they did this?

All legit 09 pairs have the Jumpman's facing the right (ball in left hand) on BOTH shoes.
The 00' pairs had the Jumpmans facing away from the back.

thanks willmatic78. now i got what they were talkin bout. lol yea my 09 got d same jumpman logo facing d other way. lil unique i must say. it differs it from the '00 pair.. props on krispy pair of '00 jams btw. when you gon seaglow it with royal blue RIT my dude? lol the dude who post a thread couple weeks ago did an awesome job..

JB/Nike typically tweak retros to distinguish them from OGs and older re-releases. Sometimes the shoes may get improved cushioning. A good example was when the Zoom Flight 96s got retroed. The Zoom Air was improved. In the case of JB, corners usually get cut in terms of production costs and the quality drops. Since there's high demand for the Jordan XI, this likely won't change anytime soon. The 2000 & DMP releases were the last great retros of the XIs. The 11 CDP & 2009 Space Jams catch major backlash in terms of quality from a lot of people despite the launch day hype and resell market.

Thanks. Actually they're VNDS. I would seaglow them but I've never done it and I keep reading about the sole separation that might happen and that pretty much scares me away from doing it. My take on the blue tint is that when photographed, the blue color from the grip pads reflect the blue throughout the sole because they are clear. I notice that my daughter's pair (toddler size) has a sort of blue tint and the grip pads on that pair is huge.

yea. i think d yellow soles gives character to d shoes. id rather have it yellow than tweaked like that. i dont wna regret it in the long run.
