Quick question about UPS. Local Post Office Exception

I was expecting a package today and when it never came I logged in to see where it was and I see this

As requested by the sender, the package was transferred to the local post office. An event has occurred which may impact delivery. See shipment progress below.
and when I look at the progress it says this

San Antonio, TX, United States	03/29/2011	11:03 A.M.	Package was forwarded to the receiver's address that is on file with the local post office.
	03/29/2011	11:03 A.M.	RECEIVED BY THE LOCAL POST OFFICE

Where is my package at?

Probably will delievered by the mailman tomorrow. Newegg use to do that all the time with egg saver shipping

Not to thread jack or anything but its very similar....Today I got a package (Omaha Steaks) that I never ordered

The driver was in a hurry or something and told me I didnt need to sign or anything...

Turns out it was for my boy who lives down the street..a gift from his dad... Hes lucky it was delivered to me and no one else because I know if I didnt know him I woulda smashed thos filet mignons for lunch..

Whats the best way to go about getting some free steaks out of this..? Calling the Omaha ppl or UPS ?

well you cant really get anything from it because you never ordered it.

i say, if youre hungry, eat it..

your boy and his pops can just call omaha steaks and UPS and they can get a new batch but only if the package had signature confirmation because that would be UPS fault

Yea thats what I mean ...I already gave them back to him ..we were just tryna figure out ways to get something from this...

Maybe if we had his dad call up there and cuss someone out they would ship him a brand new box..
