I'm trading someone a few pairs for their kicks + $$$

How do I have protection on this??? I'm sending pairs to the seller, and he is seding me my pair plus a money order.

He's not shipping until he receives my kicks. Should I just ensure the package i send at fedex/usps for the total amount including money order???

Is it better to pay paypal? Im basically sending a couple pairs and he's sending 1 pair + 300 money order. would changing that to paypal help protect me on the whole deal? or just the 300... Confusing lol

You send him $1000 through Paypal and he sends you $1300 through Paypal. Both of you are protected.

Then why don't you guys take advantage of their trade service where you both ship to a moderator, and he ships them off after both pairs are received? Obviously it still has risks, but I'd feel a lot better about doing that than to send it to some random member who has no real incentive to send you anything in return

Why in the hell would he need to send you a MO when he's shipping the shoes second? He can just throw the cash in the box.

Paypal or Money Order means nothing since you're shipping first.

Nope. If you buy insurance that is to insure the package gets to him, not that he sends a package back in return.

Why would it? The package you send him is in no way affiliated with the package he sends you. The post office doesn't know/care about any agreement you have with dude. Those are 2 completely separate shipping transactions.

its going to be risky... I say you send him the least valuable of the shoes and he sends the money... once the money clears, you send him the remaining shoe(s) and then he will send you the pair as promised...

paypal will only cover the funds if anything goes wrong and USPS wont do anything unless the package is damaged/lost during transit... the rest is just an unlikely reach.

but TBH, read what the guy above me wrote!!... MO is an instant red flag... repped you for that info btw!
