Iverson did post something about it along with some pictures of them both together. A.I. saw him as a little brother. Man, that 96 draft was a great one if not the BEST.
I think these were thought of specifically for Kobe but once the allegations came out Nike removed the 8-ball logo on the heel and association with Kobe. Nike then made it a team shoe.
Nah, your good. The OG pairs are the ones with the LA patch (Los Angeles ASG) on the ankle area. They would retro years later but minus the LA logo.

I’m not sure who already posted this in here, but yeah this is a super dope pic. Dame gotta be conflicted. On the one hand I’m sure he wants to drop 60 on the lakers. On the other hand I’m sure he’ll want the LA crowd to be happy and celebrate with a win in honor of Kobe.

I happen to be at a different mall today and the Lids location there is simplifying the free #8/#24 Angel Wings logo. This one was now offering white or black stitching as the only color options. They said there were too many complications with the extra yellow and purple colors, it was more a time issue.
I ended up leaving them my all black leather Adidas hat. Ordered white angel wings with black #8. Said it should be done in “a couple of days” due to the long line
