R these legit?

Greetings,

I’m new in this forum. Trying again to repost this since it doesn’t look like it went through the first time.

I’m trying to find out if these shoes are real or they are good fake ones... my Neighbor found them recently in his storage; and my first impression was that they were fake since I couldn’t see a tag on the back of the thong with any numbers/year.....They looked brand new and he is saying these shoes have been in storage for long time. The have some anatomical arch support still in a bag. Any idea? before I tell him to start using them to mow his lawn

Legit. OG for sure..Look like some wrestling/vollyball or something or another type of kicks. Nice find, not sure of a value.

Thanks, I have been trying to get some info with no success. Not sure of the year but my main concern is that I don’t see a tag identifying the type of shoes.

OG tags are a lot different than todays. Is there any info on the back of the tag or printed on the inside of the collars? This may help.

Ok so production date is 8/10/1987. That should help narrow it down a bit.
