Anyone from NYC ever been to a shooting range? I keep seeing Tv shows and stuff about people going to shooting ranges and I realized I would like to do it.. so yea...anyone here done it?

Im from houston, tx..My friends and i go 3-4 times a month real fun..but can get expensive with ammo and lane rentals etc.

You are aware that the gun range has guns you can use to shoot at the range only right? I guess you can bring your own if you have a licensed one, but they can provide guns at the range for you also.

The shooting range is a quality time. IMO Shotgun shooting clay birds or trap shooting, is more rewarding than just sitting there with a handgun and shooting down range at a piece of paper. I'm in central NJ, if you wanna hit the range lemme know.

Most NYC'ers go to Long Island...Suffolk County.
