I listen to a lot of genres but before Rawkus Records I only listened to only commercial rap so I thank Rawkus for dropping classic and classic material that opened my eyes to more music than just what was fed to me. It was so good you couldn't resist

This was a major milestone for rap music and for the music business in general.

The rise of the independent label to a point where they were almost competing with the majors.

You've seen more and more of that since.

Funcrusher Plus is a seminal release that is under appreciated.

They were at the forefront of underground music back in the late 90's. Love that label. They spawned some amazing artists.
