I was looking for a thread, just saw this for like the millionth time during a commercial break of the NBA draft.

Liev Schriber (spell check?) seems like a guy who can pull off his own show. And then Voight is just an added bonus.

Glad I have another show to watch. I've always thought he deserved a shot to be in more stuff. Crazy to know he does most (if not all) of the voice work for HBO.

A couple of things that bothered me though is that he's supposed to be a renowned Mr. Fixit (a la Winston Wolfe), why did he eff up & mess around with the little girl along with not completing the job he was asked to do (& piss off the schmuck Hollywood exec).

Also didn't like how the wife accepted Mickey in. I'm sure the back story was Ray told her some effed up stories about his youth... Why would she let that dude in? Out of spite perhaps?

Looking forward to seeing how the season unfolds.

just checked the first episode out on OnDemand...looks like a winner. SO much going on with the new half brother, return of pops, flashbacks and then the new issues. I'll be tuning in and glad they didn't throw any 30min BS out at us

I checked out the first four episodes of this show and honestly, I don't think it's that good but rather mediocre. I thought the first episode was pretty bad, but the next episodes do get better. Not enough for me to keep watching.

The story line doesn't interest me. The show itself reminds me of Entourage meets Shameless meets House of Lies, but instead of being a comedy, it's a drama. Good move on Showtime to have this playing after Dexter, I'm sure this will gain some fans.
