Rechargable Batteries

What is your take on this NT? I have bought a pack of 4 AA rechargeable batteries (from Radioshack lol) but they only lasted about a good 3 months. They don't even work anymore. Now I know what you're thinking, BECAUSE IT WAS FROM RADIOSHACK. But the thing is does the brand really matter. To me these are not cost effective in the long run. So would you rather buy a pack of 40 AA batteries from Costco for like 10 bucks or stick to rechargeable batteries, keeping in mind you still have to buy the expensive charger.

How often did you charge them? Continuously charging them would simply shorten the battery life.

Personally, I've gone the Costco route, simply because it's cheaper. But the best battery IMO are the Lithium Ion batteries that unfortunately cost about $10.

Hmm eneloop aye? I will give those a try. And LiveMyReality, I only charge them when they run out. And sometimes I take them out so they don't use energy. But I am also really tempted to go the Costco route. 40 batteries can last a really long time.

I have a set for my xbox controller and they work fine.  They are even a cheap brand.
