Recommend me an ISP!

Y'all always know what's up, so I came here with this. I don't want anybody's bundle, I need a landline like I need typewriter parts. I don't want any $#%$ that's going to double in price 6 months in, and I'm not trying to pay over $40 for some damn internet. I just need reasonably priced, reliable net service to do my business...if I can't get it, I'm perfectly willing to keep tethering my smartphone service to my laptop like a savage.
