Redbox vs. Netflix

I'm going to try using Redbox at my local grocery store (in an attempt to save money by not buying Blu-rays).
seems to be more convenient than Netflix.

I'm just curious if any NTer's have a preference between the two.  I don't need the instant streaming feature of Netflix and would rather not have to wait for the Blu-rays to arrive in the mail.

The instant stream feature is pointless. The latest movies are never available for instant stream until they're old. Redbox has bluerays and reg dvd's. There's always a deal w/ em (currently a rent two get one free). IMO Blockbuster DVD machines>>Redbox>Netflix

The instant stream feature is pointless. The latest movies are never available for instant stream until they're old. Redbox has bluerays and reg dvd's. There's always a deal w/ em (currently a rent two get one free). IMO Blockbuster DVD machines>>Redbox>Netflix

Since Netflix changed their own plan prices. Redbox is better. You can get deals here and there. They're at grocery stores, Walgreens, and some McDonalds.

I'm going with Netflix because you can access it from the comfort of your own home plus various devices HOWEVER I always SMH at the amount of foreign films available via Netflix. They're always DVD only or 'coming soon' whereas online via various other sites I am able to access them.

I would also appreciate the service a lot more if some of my favorite shows where available via Instant Stream (i.e. The Wire)

Netflix is best for catching up on old tv series... Redbox is best for new releases

Netflix since it is on my phone, tv, blu ray, pc/mac, and tablet

my pops has a netflix account so i get to use it at no cost to me but i totally agree the instant stream feature is not all it's cracked up to be since there's no rhyme or reason as to which movies are available.

most newer movies are never available for instant stream and then when you wanna watch a good movie (that's mainstream too btw) that's pretty old (i.e. 1995-2007) and figure it should be good for instant stream, it's not on there. smh
