Redman Is coming to Toronto Vol. Summer road trip

Every summer my boys and I go on a summer road trip and this year we have decided to drive to Toronto (from VA) for a long weekend. The only problem is we really don't know much about Toronto besides the fact Drake and The Weeknd (sad I know) are from Toronto. What is there to do in Toronto as far as sites, shopping and other things we can't find in the US?

We planned our trip around the Beer Festival so is worst comes to worst we will have the beer festival to fall back for something to do.

So far all we have planned to see/attend:
Beer Festival
The Needle

Any other suggestions or Toronto blogs (besides 1LovTO) would be appreciated.
