I knew Stern would come to his senses. I'm not a fan of the regular officials but I'd rather see them than the variant FIBA officials we've seen inthe preseason.

I knew it was too good to be true. I don't know why anyone would be content to have the old guard back. They have been awful for a bunch of years now andhave contributed to the degradation of the game playing. Seriously, the refs that have been officiating games in the preseason haven't been any moreterrible than the ones we've been watching over the last bunch of years. They can only get better while the old refs can only continue to be as corrupt andpreferential as they have been.
