I just got a ds pair of the og Air more uptempo.. Problem is it reeks of cigarette smoke. Any ideas on how to remove the smell from the entire shoe? Thanks in advance.

Febreze them then leave them outside with dryer sheets in them for a few hours

I had this problem with a pair of '01 Columbia XI's

Put a bunch of tea bags (unused) inside the shoe. Tea bags should absorb the smell.

Baking soda could also work.

You can stuff the shoes with newspapers. Same effect as tea bags or baking soda.

Heard freezing shoes can remove smells but I never tried it.

Thanks I'll try it. Do you think it will absorb the smell out of the nubuck?

I had a brand new jersey that I bought off Ebay. When I got it though, it reeked of cigarette smoke. I hand washed it, then I hung it outside for 2 straight days. Day and night. Smell was gone.

spray the insoles with air freshener

Well seeing as it's a 20 yr old shoe, I doubt OP will be wearing them.
