Retaking courses in college??

Sup NT
I need some insight regarding retaking courses.
I was placed in Math 150 for my first semester in college, I messed around and I'm basically failing now.
I can Credit no credit or retake the course next semester, and have that new grade be the only one that is counted towards my GPA..but it will still show onmy Transcript..
I am leaning towards retaking it as the tuition for 13-17 credits is the same...why not.

How bad does this look?...Although it doesnt hurt my gpa it is still on my transcript
How many times have you retaken courses? I hope this is my only time as I hate math, and I'll actually try this time around but is this common?

Dont worry about it.

If you re-take it and get a better grade... the F wont even matter.

Ive retaken my Geology lab i failed, and also Astronoy because I got a D and knew I could of done better.
