Varsity red VIs only been released one time and that was back in 2010 and since it's Jordan facebox displayed in the pic above it should be the 2000 retro black infrared VIs you got there. It's hard to tell if they're legit or not judging from one pic though.

The color definitely looks like Infrared, but legitimacy is hard to determine from what you've provided.
