I see where Ebro is coming from but dude was kind of going hard

I do appreciate that he always says what he feels . . . Riff Raff shoulda trolled him instead of trying to justify his steez lol . . . cause son do be trolling lol

Lettuce be cereal.........................

Vanilla Ice is a waaaaaay better rapper than Riff Raff. Srs

Ebro shoulda went hard, cuz Riff Raff comes off as a clown. He asked him everything that people wanted to know and I think Riff Raff handled it the right way.

I don't even know what to say about that freestyle he did on there :rollin

Look at Ebro's twitter. He's retweeting anything negative that anyone says to him about Riff Raff.

That's some real petty stuff.

I don't know about ya'll but i think the **** is necessary.... when i see Riff Raff i see someone who's just making a mockery out of hip-hop yet their are people who will try to pass it off as if it's truly good rap.

Same with Lil B if it entertains you and you like it so be it...... but don't come around trying to pass it off as good rap music or convince me on the "genius" of this *******

I get the argument that he's making a mockery of rap music, but let someone with some actual credence who isn't an active participant in the watering down of hip hop and rap music be the one taking someone like Riff Raff to task.

I looked at 5 minutes of it and paused it and appreciates what Ebro is doing here. Our standards have been lowered tremendously within the hip hop culture the past 10 years that we are actually questioning the reason for Ebro to ask him about his story and his meaning? And , no, its not a race thing ,macklamore is way more credible than this clown and his recent accolades are living proof. Spring breakers should let you know how he's perceived.

Just like all other genres of music, rap has it's own sub genres. What riff raff and various other mcs like him do is nothing new to rap. IF you're arguing that their needs to mainstream balance, I could see that point. However, you have to put that blame on both the conscience rappers for not being able to make records that are palatable by the average fan and the fans for not support these rappers. What I don't get is why so many conscience rappers think they're above rapping over a catchy, banging track. Yet you see all these gimmick/hype rappers becoming popular using producers no one outside their own city heard of, half the time they're producing the track themselves.

I really don't get it. IF I was a conscience rapper, I would be spending half my time just going through all these music sites. I would be looking for new producers with talent who have produced a banging beat, and use them to craft something that makes my flow shine. Dudes gotta be attacking the game like a musician but most these dudes just aren't musically inclined Instead they keep going after these gimmick rappers that not only found their own lane but are damn near genius at what they do with it. Man listen to All Gold Everything from a musician standpoint, the flow, how James hit those pockets, the way he say Don't Believe Me Just Watch N's N's N's :smokin that makes it stick with you.

There's a ton of rappers who should be pressed with the same questions, though. Why is Riff Raff the problem?

Many people who actually like RIff Raff don't take him as a rapper. He's more of a comedic, coked out, mollyjuaaaata personality.

I find entertainment in SOME of his music/videos but 75% are wack, lets be real.

IMO I think he is serious as an artist but I don't think he is serious with his image. His comments about having tatts and a real watch making him real and serious didn't make much sense.

EBro being older, he's seen, heard, and been around the industry for years. I remember he was on my local station in PDX for a bit. He knows his stuff. But he needs to chill. Riff was being as honest as he could without making himself look like a total fool.

Ebro was making it seem like a qualifier for a rapper to be wearing jewelry and some streetwear is selling dope. What about Drake? Has he said anything about him?

the same dude who made a mockery of a legend in the culture about a serious issue, of sexuality within closet gay black men. Not even that he did it on air, that was a joke
for any boss to do. How you do you call someone family then expose them for radio ratings, for the enjoyment of your clear channel bosses. This dude is a clown, and they need
to stop trying to copy the breakfast club(Charlemagne) format, they need to find a real talent.

ebro is a cornball... just because he doesn't make the hip-hop music you like, doesnt give you the right to act like this guy is destroying the culture.

There's a lot of room in hip-hop FOR EVERYBODY. Let Riff play his lane, worry about those no-fun, boring song writing *** rappers.
I can listen to Riff-Raff and have more fun that 90% of artists in the game. Why is that a problem? He makes cool music, get off his ****.

Dude wanted people talking about him and his station, its working.

Is he still a clown?......yes.

Imo He tries too hard to be noticed,it's almost as if he's playing a character as well.

Have you ever saw his interview with Combat jack show?

I use to think he was a hypocrite when he started talkin that d league rapper stuff but that interview goes into FULL detail on why exactly Hot 97 plays what it does.... Quite simply it's play a certain record or lose your job.

Here's the thing he is Destroying the culture when people look at him and think that's what you have to emulate to become a rapper... If it was just one or two of these cats cool.... but slowly and surely people are watching this hype machine build up and REALLY think it's going to take no skill to become a rapper and get a fanbase.

when you have multiple people rapping with no direction, no skill it potentially does hurt the culture. when i see people say J.cole is boring yet Riff Raff is good music... THAT HURTS THE CULTURE

And it's not that dudes really take the time to thoroughly listen to both artist.... their opinion is hugely based on what other people are saying and they run with it.

Make a mockery IMO he did what was needed to do & went on it as a friend would do (Although going hard in public takes it to another level) but the fact of the matter is that Mr Cee has been caught several times and is still lying to the public's face. He had every reason in the world to be Questioned like that.
