RIP George Floyd

They rather shell out millions than bring the "bad cops" to justice? These payouts really need to be tied to the pension fund.

should also be tied to kkkop unions' bags of money they collect from their minions that they use against the public's welfare.

it is utterly depressing that we have people in power calling on private citizens to do **** like this. **** that guy.

I agree with you.

But I wouldn’t have been upset if he had tried to call out Jeff Bezos or Something. For one because he makes that amount every 6 seconds and two because Bezos is effectively running the biggest sweatshops in America right now with no oversight.

He called out Lebron because Lebron is black and Villanueva has no respect for black people.

Dude asked when was amerikkka ever great for African Americans

His campaign slogan "maga" is a reminder for African Americans of the few months right before the pandemic...

:smh:

This is what we get for selecting a coach whose never played the sport.

Pretty damning evidence that white peoples just don’t come off as aggressive whilst being aggressive as a black man minding his business.

just boggles my mind how anyone can watch this and not think that black people are treated completely differently than everyone else.

its not even ignorance at this point.

looking it up, man wasn't even charged or arrested

this country sucks

It's willful disregard of the facts. Because it's a crushing realization once you have to admit this utopic vision of a country that you had in your head is a fairy tale.

Like we grow up thinking that we're on the right side of all of the wars, or like 95% of them. We think all that racism stuff is in the past. We got taught Columbus discovered America and ultimately there was that whole Thanksgiving thing where everybody was happy and made up and everything was cool and then in the 60s MLK tried to get justice for the (untrue) few white people that were mad, but since then it's been pretty cool.

Education and socialization is a mug.

Like, you ever see a movie with a twist at the end that recontextualizes everything you saw and heard? That's what's happening, only when the big reveal occurs, people are just turning their heads and walking out of the theater, not wanting to experience it and deal with the truth.

I grew up with all kinds of lies my teachers told me, and that society told me. And I listened to hip hop growing up and the truth was literally being yelled at me and I was yelling it right back, and still not truly believing it wasn't an exaggeration. Put on some BDP right now and know all the words and it's amazing how all the truths you thought were actually true (America is a meritocracy! We're almost always the good guys!) are actually lies and propaganda because we're human beings just like everybody else. And then find out all the rap songs over the years that were, pardon the pun, beating you over the head about how police act (Paris - Coffee, Donuts & Death), how they were founded (BDP - Sound of the Police), what they do (BDP - Illegal Business) and how they operate weren't exaggerations to sell records, they were truth telling in the only way you could get that message out to a nationwide audience consistently.

It's absolutely wild. Same goes for a lot of comedy from back in the day. It's good music, or it's funny, or its entertaining, but you mostly accept it as exaggeration or anomaly, not as a counternarrative.

So imagine how world-crushing it is when people who are favored by this system have to try to face the prospect that it's all a lie, and in this movie where you thought you were the good guy, you're actually sitting on a throne of skulls made from innocents.

Its devastating.

I thought that standard police protocol was if a person is resisting arrest, that person has to die?

What were the circumstances that allowed for this man to shoot two officers, killing one, and living to see another day?

🤔🤔🤔

Nah man, I think you completely misunderstood what was said. Yes, you are correct that had it been a black male, the cops most likely wouldn't have reached for tasers and would have pulled guns.

But cops getting killed will always be weaponized against us. The MAGA crowd will see that vid and say "this why cops should use lethal force rather than try non lethal measures first."

He was saying that "they" would spin it, not us.
