RIP George Floyd

I still don't understand what that piece of **** was doing for 10 minutes? He looked like he was just looking down at him. He was already handcuffed, with NO resistance. Why didn't they just have him in the car soon as the cuffs were on?
He was full of hate..his face explains it all. I felt the presence of the white devil when he looked up directly at the camera then proceeds to go different pressure points cutting his airway. We can't ostracize racists however I'm convinced we don't belong with white people.

l
Gonna be harder to charge him then (according to this dude in the NPR comments that claims to be a lawyer, at least).

Ahhh, I see. Makes sense to do 3rd degree. Lets go for that slam dunk because he’ll be seeing 25 years atleast according to Minnesota law.

12 years ain't enough when he goes to rich, white person jail playing PS4 and watching Netflix. Gets out on "good behavior" when his buddies help him out in there. Well-known police got connects with lawyers/attorneys/judicial system..

I need to see 20+ years, no getting out early, no parole, at-home BS. He needs to go to real prison and take his pounding (pun intended).

Its first degree if he knew him. And there are reports they worked together

A major plot twist has just been revealed following the murder of George Floyd. According to a former club owner in Minneapolis, both George Floyd and his killer, police officer Derek Chauvin, worked security at the El Nuevo Rodeo club.

As protests and riots continue to take place across the country, more information is coming out about the 46-year-old unarmed black man that was murdered this week. According to an ABC News affiliate, Floyd allegedly worked security at a nightclub and Derek Chauvin, the since-fired officer who kneeled on his neck, worked at the same club.

Maya Santamaria, former owner of the club, spoke:

"Chauvin was our off-duty police for almost the entirety of the 17 years that we were open," said Santamaria. "They were working together at the same time, it's just that Chauvin worked outside and the security guards were inside."

This. Just watched the Epstein doc on Netflix. The dude had so much evidence since the early 2000s, and took nearly 20 years to put him behind bars.

naw he needs the chair like they did John Coffey in green mile. 20 years too easy knowing he killed at least 20 black men back when their weren't body cams and camera phones.

Third degree is defined as “without intent to kill” right?

What exactly is the intent when you put your full body weight directly on someone’s neck for 8 min without looking down to check??

tbh it's so insanely difficult to get a police office charged for killing anyone, let alone 6-7 black man, better off not getting greedy if you wanna secure a guilty verdict.

juries basically never convict cops, all they gotta say is i was affraid of this or that and juries let em off. it's nasty.

its a sad reality. :smh:

this type of **** does suck tho

Business insurance
Damage to the physical plant of a business and its contents that is caused by fire, riots, civil commotion or vandalism is covered under a Business Owners Policy (also known as a BOP).

You make a phone call is what you do. File a claim. Literally what businesses pay thousands of dollars every year into. INSURANCE

That Forcillo scumbag got attempted murder for the Sammy Yatim murder :{. Its ridiculous that they even get BAIL while awaiting a MURDER trial. What? Johm kills Joe and bails denied, why TF are they held to a different standard when they are SUPPOSED to uphold the law.

Kinda related, you hear about the Regis Korchinski-Paquet case?

mplsdunk mplsdunk what’s it like over there? Are you good?
I’m good, I haven’t been to mpls yet. A bunch of my friends were out today helping people clean but I had to work.

I was in St. Paul yesterday on university and it was going down. The Verizon store got shot up for some reason, a couple fires and mad traffic. Almost got stuck in it.

im sure you heard about them just blasting all the people with pepper spray for nothing.

attitude is pretty much ftp even from my country co workers which is rare to say the least.

Stay safe.

it can be upgraded. i get why they went with third degree tho
Doesn’t make sense to over charge when you can potentially upgrade the charges. Gonna be hard to get first degree conviction unfortunately. State would have to prove premeditation which is hard to do.

bruh, dude got $300k donated to him in like a day or two. That's why I don't get people crying about businesses burning. A lot of them are corporations with top tier insurance and funds to cover the damages. And the privately owned mom and pop businesses got insurance and can throw up a GoFundMe like this guy and make a few hundred thousand.

I get you, but we’re not gonna call it “greedy”.

Justice is owed.
