came in here to say this. i'm a huge fanatic of west coast rap/hip-hop (obviously with my sn) and the fact that detox is finally actually gonna come out. granted it'll still be popular and generate hits but it just wont be the same without him in the music videos etc....

I think you're talking about the track w/ Ghostface and Mark Ronson, "Ooh Wee".

I think I come into this thread once a year. But I HAD to check this thread.

I told people that the passing of Nate hit me more than when Pac/Big passed. Regulate was the very first rap/hip-hop track I EVER listened to. After hearing that song, I was hooked. Not to discredit what Pac/Big did for music and the culture, but for me... I was only 12 at the time and they both passed not too long after. Meanwhile, Nate kept the hooks coming... stuff that would be embedded into our heads. I couldn't believe it when I heard the news.

RIP Nate Dogg
G-Funk Era

RIP nate dogg he was a true legend in the rap game and the father of G funk believe that. I was already bumping old school dpg and deathrow hits but now nate is in heavy rotation. I gotta hit up Long Beach today and holla at my peoples down there.

edit: maaan its been years since ive heard that freeway/nate joint!

Kind of disappointed my man didn't get any love in the Music forum today.
