I am terrified of heights. Seriously. I climb on kids’ playground equipment and feel the ground sway beneath my feet. I don’t, however, let that fear get in the way of new experiences; I’ve been bungee jumping (tandem, needed to be pushed), zip lining (tears the whole way, hated it more than bungee jumping), and even rock climbing (albeit it was an indoor gym). What do all these activities have in common, besides sending my blood pressure through the roof? I was attached to harnesses – read that as I was safe.

This doesn’t seem to be the case for Russian teens who have adopted a new hobby called “skywalking.
