Its acceptable.
These small circuit spectator drags are known for extremely aggressive driving and regularly swapping paint.
Most of the cars raced are hand built buckets worth less than 5k. Story goes that the driver of the SRT decided to take his 60K Jeep to the event. He won race after race that day and banked on the fact that his car was so much faster off the line than the other cars in the event nobody could even catch up with him for a chance to swap paint. Apparently the S10 wasn't having it and Pitted him right off the line.

Yup. Most people go into these races knowing full well that these races are like that. And hes a ******g fool for taking his Jeep to that race. And with that being said, if he didnt know, I hope he beat that dude in the S10's ***. lol

He had to have known there was a possibility.
I really think he counted on his car being so much faster off the line than anything else entered that there was no chance of him receiving any damage.

The guy in the Jeep obviously thought he was going to troll the other racers with a much faster car. That 4WD HEMI was too quick off the line for the other 2wd cars, but the 4WD S10 kept up just enough to pit the Jeep
Everything is fair in small circuit drags and you soft as hell for getting mad b... you aren't going to break anyone's jaw. You're gonna take your L call the waaaambulance.
Dude in the Jeep is a complete moron for thinking his car was too fast to get clipped. This kind of thing happens all the time at small circuit spectator drags.

Its part of the event... that specific event was called "Days of Destruction".
Dude's Jeep was so much faster than the other cars he expected to get away scoff free.....and did the entire day until that race. S10s AWD was the the only thing that could keep up off the line so he took the shot when he could. 100% fair in this kind of race.
If you want to race without a chance of getting your car ****** up, stick to the sissy your tracks and dont enter an event like this.
