This topic came up while I was listening to the Engadget podcast and all the editors seemed to agree.

They said it was faster and the only thing Firefox had over on Safari was compatibility.

Only if Safari had ablock plus...

Well that's a pretty big factor isn't it?

I don't use Safari enough to make an educated opinion here, but I have been using FireFox since the first release and I don't plan on changing any timesoon.

I like Firefoxs layout better, but I use Safari as my main browser just because of the three finger swipe for forward and backward page movements on thetrackpad. I've have gotten so use to it on Safari i just cant stand not to have it when I use firefox lol. But Safari does need to come out with an Adblocker like adp for Firefox. That thing works like a champ.

No, not really. Plus, I find engagdget to be too much in love in Apple.

But when it comes to browsers, just use what your comfortable with. I've seen using IE8 since I installed Win7. It's been fine, but I'll probablymove over to Firefox or Chrome once they update to add Win7 features.

I only use Firefox when I'm on my Windows machine, but when using OSX I rather use Safari, runs better, less of a resource hog and doesn't crash.Although sometimes I do miss some plug-ins.

Safari does have adblock plus. Just google Safari Adblock plus. I've been using safari ever since it became safari 4

i have the hardest time embedding vids on chrome here on nt , i get on firefox when i post vids and pics and sometimes when i post on chrome its a wall of text, but yeah i use chrome mostly
