The boba spots in San Jose and San Mateo>>>>>>>>>>>>Boba Guys. It'll probably be too far and not worth the trip if you don't have a car though.
If you want something fun to do at night, hit up Urban Putt in Mission District. It's an indoor minigolf bar; I always take my friends from out of town there, and they love it.
I'd recommend El Techo, but it's a rooftop bar/restaurant that's not worth going to if you don't drink. Their drinks are on point, but the food is some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I usually get something from El Farolito (like many in here have mentioned) and head to El Techo for drinks afterwards
There's a lot of other places I can recommend, but you don't drink, so it would be pointless to go there
Honestly though, most of the best food spots are outside of SF and sprinkled throughout the Bay Area, so I'd highly recommend renting a car if you're into food tourism and are into Asian food that isn't Chinese (the spots in the Sunset District are pretty good since more Chinese people live around there). Only transplants or snobs that never go anywhere outside of the city will tell you otherwise
San Jose=Vietnamese Food (some of the best in the world; not many options in SF, but there are few decent ones in the Tenderloin)
Santa Clara=Korean Food (the options in SF are TRASH or extremely overpriced)
San Mateo=Japanese Food (many good options in SF, but even counting the 20 minute drive to SM, your wait time will probably be shorter in SM)
Sunnyvale=Indian Food (huge number of options)
Fremont has also been stepping up the past 5-6 years. A lot of good Taiwanese/Chinese hot pot places out there, as well as my favorite Korean fried chicken spot (KaYumi)
If you like Mexican food, I highly recommend the taco trucks in Oakland. I always stop there after a Warriors game
The indoor put spot sounds cool. I`m gonna be using Uber to get around btw.
Is SF known for Mexican or is that mainly a SoCal thing and the Bay has the better Asian spots?
