School and Work Hours

if u going to school full-time how many hrs are you working and what rate?
me in fall 2010 8.75 an hr 18hr/week + full -time school

at one point i was going to school full time and working two jobs...did that for about a year and a half...looking back it was stupid and i didn't have to do it...

i was getting about 20 hours at my main job and working 10 at my retail job on the weekends...

i was so tired i would come home from work and not even go to class...

STOP CHASING MONEY......live simply!!

The only money i use is to go out to eat w/ my friends

just need to maintain a social life and you're good.

let go of that materialistic desire

When I had a job I was full-time at school and working maybe 16 hours a week if I was lucky.

I had a pretty good balance. %$*#+% paycheck, but pretty good balance

I was going to school full time and working as a barber fulltime.
I don't recommend it. It was extremely tiring.

Living on my own with no car payment (it's paid off) and in a simple basement suite, my bills are $2200 living "simply"
Gas, rent, food, car insurance, phone bill

maintaining a social life is DAMN hard as it is

My last two years in college I worked 40 hour weeks and took at least 15 credit hours a semester. Sleep didn't exist to me during that time...

i was working full time and going to school full time.....i worked nights from 8pm-6am and go to school from 7am-3pm.

All about discipline knowing what you can manage. My classes were between 8am and 4pm. My work schedule was set at 6:30 - 12:30. I did my school work in between classes or in the early am. Social life was  very minimal. I'd see my friends in between classes but when it came time to really kick it they would already be out and about by like 8pm and I was still at work, so I missed out on a lot.

If you have a flexible job then it's cool....

but once test season comes your gonna be feel like your drowning, it really depends on your job.

If it's something that requires you to be there a full 8 hrs without flexibility then try getting a part time job. BUT if you must.... then you better make a schedule and stick to it religiously (cause I know I can't)

Messed up BIG in school last semester tryig to work 2 jobs, 70 hrs. a week, & taking 4 classes. I bit off more than i could chew & really am regretting it to say the least

Takin about 5 classes and workin between 20-25 hours a week
