I'm going to be up there for a few days in July and have never been there before. What are some "must-see" spots? Honestly every time I hearChicago all I can picture is that Michael Jordan bronze statue over there. Besides the statue, tell me about this city.

Early July?...if so, Hit up The Taste Of Chicago...Just walk around downtown...its great

Word I want to go there. Seems like the kind of place you cant cover in a few days though.

the pizza is on point.

but the city is really too expensive to do anything....

i was gonna take my girl to the science center....but it's 20 to get in and 15 to park.....so we're like "well, lets go up to the navypier..."

too bad parking alone is 32 dollars....and no, i don't drive a semi truck, either....

i hear the taste is on point tho....i wanted to try to make it out there for the taste, myself...

end of july. goin july 30th (thurs) and comin back sunday. just a weekend trip cause its "been there done that" in cleveland and i figured CHI wasclose enough to hit up without much planning.

Warning to those going to the Taste: as soon as the sun goes down ****

32 dollars to park, damn that! Just take the free trolley. That's what I do when I'm in Chicago.

To be honest riding down LSD with the windows down is worth the trip to Chicago.

Navy Pier, The Bean, the Taste, Sears tower for the view, Michigan av for shopping, United center for MJ statue. Look up Metromix for restaurants or clubs nearyour hotel Just try to stay Downtown.

Post up in the hundreds and wear your hat to the right or left son.

depends on what you like and how old you are

if you like sports go to a cubs game, wait till after the first inning and you can score cheap tickets, the train takes you right there. after the game therea million bars in the area you can hit up.

go to wicker park-damen and division, a ton of bars/cafes with outdoor seating, scenery is not bad. north/damen/milwaukee is a good intersection there too. there is a taco place there too-best tacos i have ever had-called la pasadita at division and ashland. that alone is worth the trip.

lake shore drive with the windows down is a must.

dont think there are any street fests.

you could do all the tourist spots and hit state street, michigan ave, navy pier too.
