NT, School me on VPNs...pros, cons, what purpose do they serve, how do they work, popular/trusted ones, etc.

I see them advertised everywhere, sponsoring people's YouTube videos, etc. and figured I should probably learn more.

If you have a VPN you can mask your location and get perks like overseas NFL Sunday Ticket or NBA League Pass. It is cheaper for those services overseas cause of the time zones. Some other people I know use VPNs instead of an antivirus cause they believe it is harder to Hack.

i only use them when downloading Pr0n... sometimes theres a limit to how much you can dl but with VPN its unlimited lol
