When Scott first started having all his **** taken by the bank and repo man he was still popping bottles at mansion but was paying cash instead of using his amex like before.  See when these rich ppl end up building a ton of debt and their income goes down, they jus end up not paying the creditors and head towards bankruptcy.  They'll still have their cash in safes stashed away to spend even tho it ain't what they used to have, they still have more cash on hand than ur avg and broke ppl.  And that's what "rich ppl broke" is.
