I need help and advice. I was burnt by piece of you no what in N.Y. city. I gave him my yeezy 350 boost and cash. In return I got a pair of don 2s, which had all the original packaging, receipt and everything. Was promised they were legit, they looked legit so I went with the deal. But upon returning home the next day I had the notion to get them checked out from a consignment store. In which they told me they were fake. So now I m beyond pissed. I got the guy number but he won't answer and he has my sneakers posted on Craigslist. I want to kill this guy too be honest, I went back over to NY to talk to police but they were no help and should be ashamed to call themselves cops. If you know someone is breaking the law you should be willing to stop them no matter how minor to them it may be. I have no respect for the 9th district police station at all. In conclusion it seems like they want me too take the law into my own hands, and right now I think I'm ready to do that.

Don't do anything crazy, at the end of the day they are just shoes, and it is not worth hurting him or yourself over. I'm sorry about what happened though man. These situations are difficult. I know that you said you tried contacting the police, what did you tell them, and what did they say? Was there a lack of evidence, or did they not feel it was worth looking into?

I had text messages, I had signed letter from consignment store saying shoes are fake. Had the Craigslist add with my sneakers he now trying to sale. I had witness, every thing. I drove two hours away, and the first thing I hear is we can't do anything for you. This is a civil matter, how is it a civil matter when the guy is posting fake merchandise on Craigslist saying they are authentic. I called the day before and they said yeah come on down we will help u. They didn't do you know what and didn't bother to look at any of my evidence. I ever gave them the guy number to try to set him up. They refused to call it and told me I had to call a friend to try to set this guy up. But they say people don't care unless it is them or their family, so what can I expect. I just have the proof that I came to them first trying to do the right thing but it didn't work. So when we take care of it ourselves they better not say anything about it.

But this guy won't answer my calls and the people I tried to get to contact them he rarely answers. I think if I had a NY number of someone trying to buy my kicks then he would respond faster.

Bait this guy. It is the only way. I've had to do this for a friend about a year ago. Friend of mine bought a pair of 2013 Royal 1's on Craigslist. After we compared the pair he got from my pair, shoes he sold my boy were FAKE! The following day, my boy contacted him to tell him that the shoes were fake but he insisted that they were authentic and stop replying to my boys text and won't pick up phone calls. I called this guy 2-3 days later with my number and inquired about the DB 3's he was selling and he responded quick and met up with me after work. Long story short, guy met with me and less than a minute later, my boy pulls up and boxes him in the parking lot so he can't leave. The guy was initially refusing to give the money back. My boy told him either give the money back and go our separate ways, or get his money taken from him unwillingly, his choice. Started to pretend we were calling the cops and he jumped and said "ok ok". Dude gives my boy his money back. We get in to our cars and head out. Just like that.

If you're going to bait this guy, just be prepared. Things can go down several ways but you just gotta be prepared and expect would could happen when trying to trap a crooked dude. I'm glad my boy situation went down pretty easy. Just like @NCVikingx97 said, at the end of the day, they are just shoes but I do hope you get yours back. I hate these scumbag mofo's lmao. Thanks for that message homie. The fact is my financial situation isn't at the level that I can just say f it and move on. I have to get them back. Might not get the money I gave back but I definitely will get the shoes back one way or another. I'm working on a plan to set up a meet up. My frustration with this guy is at all time high at this moment. So I want to bring a end to it so I can just get all this rage out of my system.
