My clear soles on Spacejam XI is all sticky now and it smells like seaglow...anyone know why?

Wait....

Let me get this right. You applied Seaglow to your soles, and now you are wondering why your soles smell like Seaglow, correct?

Wow. Never in my life have I seen such a ________ question. I'm so amazed, I dont even know what word to use there.

Feel free to fill that gap in NTers.

in case u cant read...the clear soles are sticky, thats the main problem...
btw guys, i washed all the seaglow off with soap and water multiple times but its still sticky...
any input will be greatly appreciated!

keep washing it, try using the Footlocker Foam cleaner on the soles

so is the sea glow working for you? any before and after pic?

You oversaturated the soles with seaglow.

Put them back in the sunlight (without reapplying seaglow) and let it dry out.

yah seaglow worked...imma put them back in sun light tmr and when i get the stickiness out ill post pics.

Yea depending on how sticky they are, they may need some solid hours in the sun. Not a big deal tho but it'll help

I definitely used a lot of sea glow, i think i use 1/3 of the bottle lol

Haha-yea bro that's is waaay to much! Just use a q-tip to apply, that way you don't use so much. Remember, adding more and more seaglow isn't goingto make them clear up faster.

Apply one coat, and put it the sun until it dries out before adding more.

jus wear them and it will go away . the stickiness is jus a light film

man, i love that sea glow was so unknown a few years ago and some dude came on the site promoting it - then all this controversy over whether it really works,it works for a few people, then BLAUW - now Seaglow is common-sense NT material. This is the purpose of our community, these type of information-sharingthreads.

Sorry, got a little sappy there but you gotta love the evolution of ideas in a Web 2.0 setting
