Seattle nightlife

I was wondering if you could give me the downlow on the nightlife scene in Seattle?

Is there a certain collective of promoters that run the city in terms of parties and whatnot? If so, could you tell me who they are? Also, are there anynightlife forums or anything like that. I'm basically just trying to get a feel for how things work down there.

I dont know whether they run the city in general but there's a couple of promotion teams that have events I usually attend Vibrant Ent (predominantlyblack) and Soul Gorilla (pretty mixed), Pak Pros (Predominantly Asian)

SoulGorilla has a site you can check out and you can check out Seaspot.com for local flyers, calenders and pictures of most events that happens in thenightlife of the city.

I mean I have fun..I'd say the nightlife is pretty average depending where you go but its enjoyable....The Belltown strip is nice with all the free loungesand most clubs are in the Pioneer Square area
