Well she did leave a mark in the whole music industry, breaking thru as a Tejana Pop Sensation and being a woman.

She was at the peak of her career, and who knows where it might of took her from there. However she was of Jehovah's Witness, and could've very well stepped away from music to get back into her religious faith.
