Selling kicks on Amazon?

been reading a lot on complaints for selling on eBay.

Is selling kicks on Amazon a good alternative? in terms of traffic, closing sales, and getting a fair offer/ bid for the kicks?

I didn't think anyone could sell on amazon. I thought you had to have a special merchant account or something.
