Separate source to light up headlights??

Hey NT, random question but does anyone know if I can run a separate electrical power source to light up my headlights? I have either a dead headlight relay or blown wires that connect from the headlight on my 2002 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to connect an amp or something to power up my hid projectors.

Wire it straight to the battery w/ a switch.


To honest it sounds as if bypassing it would be more expensive than just fixing it.
