Considering what happened in San Bernadino, it wasnt a wise move to have a knife in front of a cop, whether he seemed to be a threat or not.

Once you pull a weapon on a cop, all gloves are off.

I'm curious to know why they didn't continue to use non-lethal force on the guy.

But, I agree. Suicide by a cop. Stabbed someone, refused to let the weapon go, peace out.

    ^Yeah, crazy...

I wonder if he had a mental issue or was on a substance that enabled him to stand right back up from the non-lethal attacks?

Yeah that was OD. Obviously if you have a knife after you allegedly stabbed someone and are walking towards a cop you are going to die.

But it is ridiculous that he was not tased. What is the explanation behind that?

Or was he tased? Sorry I did not read anything.

They said they did use nonlethal weapons first. But who knows.

But it shouldn't be. As bad as that video of the crazy white lady a few weeks ago was it showed perfect police procedure - she was threatening them so they tased her. Same with a video of a guy waving a rifle - he was shot and once he was down the gun was kicked away.

That's entirely appropriate when someone is waving a gun or a knife - but shooting until they're dead or you're out of bullets is a joke and happens so often that it's clearly bad policy.

It was 5 or more officers, one of him. Each equipped with tasers, batons, and other non-lethal weapons. They could've disarmed him easily.

Also, from the looks of it, dude COULD HAVE been homeless and/or mentally ill. There are tons of them in SF as the locals up here are aware of.

I don't really care at this point, but in all honesty the cop positioned himself in front of the guy so he couldn't leave (police chief further confirmed that they cannot let suspects leave the scene.

So put A and B together it's a loophole to make sure that cops aren't accountable for the public if they execute them. Let's just be honest here.

I can't let you leave so I jump in front of you, you attempt to leave I shoot you.0]

I've heard accounts by cops say that if they are within 25 feet of someone dangerous, one slip up like missing a taser shot can threaten the officers life. So they say they are within their right to shoot to kill just about anyone. I call bs on it. But it's been widely accepted that officers lives matter more than the general public.

Cops don't keep their distance. They don't de escalate situations. And they do get away with murder

I feel like he was under the influence because his body language doesn't seem to respond to the cops yelling at him to put the gun down.

I ain't buyin' it, not seeing there being a legitmate attempt to disarm him

It don't take every officer on the scen to be drawn on him like he the Hulk

Nobody gets immobilized as in shot in the legs. Its always 15-16 slugs in the torso. Its the mind games indoctrinating in the form of range training. The silouette is always a torso based target. This recent spike in this activity leads me to believe some sort of mk ultra style system is being displayed but thats just a theory that i have...
