I went. I got there around 11:30 though (I am a night owl and there is no way in hell I was gonna go there at 7am)

I got off Civic Center @Market/7th. Couldn't move anyway because it was crazy packed. Being 5'1, I couldn't see a thing so I decided to just migrate up to Powell. Here are some pics I took. As you can see, I didn't get to see the actual parade

What was weird is that even ESPN gave the World Series a backseat to the NFL and college football. There wasnt nearly the attention given to it as last year.

It was the same thing after the Giants won in 2010 if I remember correctly.

No real coverage outside of the local Bay Area stations.

lowest rated WS ever ... watched the first game and that was it. figured it was indicative of the Series ... Tigers didn't even show.
