Finally turned 21 on Tuesday and I'm going to Lake Tahoe for Thanksgiving. I've always been into gambling and can't wait to get on the blackjack tables.

How did you guys do your first time gambling? What games did you play? Any tips?

I gambled illegally for the first time in Vegas. Was 19, had my cousins ID which said I was 31. I was SO nervous, but I played " Casino War" - All you have to do is beat the dealers card, and won like 70 bucks

 You just have to be a smart gambler, once you win back your inital bet, stash it in your pocket and play with your winnings. If you run out of winnings, take a walk and regroup.

played craps for the 1st time at a casino... i was down $100, my boy was down $300.... he went to the ATM for another $60, i cashed out my last $100, he came back and asked me if i won that money... i lied and said hell yeah i got hot for a little bit... we got hyped up, both left with $1,400 each 2hrs later

I never got a good grasp on how to play craps but sounds like I'm gonna have to learn. Is it easy to win in craps?

depends on if your hot or not... if the dice are falling your way then your good... there really isnt any casino advantages in craps...  oh the hard ways can pay big.. no omoh... dealers knew that we were hot so they kept on telling us to press the hard ways.... we just kept on rolling, then they said you need to cash out your hard ways now... next thing i know im getting black chips ($100) and a crap load of greens ( $25 ) and reds... we tipped about $200/$300 each before we left....

In terms of table games...Craps has probably been best for me. I've purpled out a couple of times now...and I've been consistently getting crushed at other games (3card, pai gow poker, etc.)

just lost 200 bucks in reno. Played only blackjack, was never up more than 50 bucks...played by the rules (giving me best odds against the house) doubled down/split only when i should've...just got a LOT of bad breaks... and a LOT of free drinks so at least that was
