Shipping A Sneaker Collection...

I'm getting out of the hobby and I'm selling the second part of my collection... Solesupremacy is willing to buy it but I have to ship first... They will pay me via Paypal gift when they receive the packages. Has anyone ever done this? I see on Instagram that they buy people's collections all the time but I don't know if they go to the store or ship them. Any advice? Should I do it?

For $1550 this what I'm selling/shipping all size 12:

I sold them my south beach 8s and 9s with this method and everything went smooth. It's actually way safer to do this than send to some random who will file a chargeback. When they get the shoes they send you the money through PayPal gift. I hit them up a few months later trying to let go of more stuff and they told me they couldn't even ballpark quote me on prices anymore, and that I had to send it in first and then they would tell me prices. This was after I spent like an hour taking pictures of 20 shoes -____-

They're still good dudes though and I wouldn't have any worries about doing more transactions. Shipping and insurance is going to cost you a fortune though if you go that route.

I don't think you guys understand. Sole supremacy is an actual physical store. They're not some 16 year old in Kansas. I sold them $1000 worth of shoes. I shipped(make sure you pay the extra for insurance in case it gets lost) and they sent the money to my Paypal account the day it arrived. It's 10x safer to sell to them than to some clown who will file a chargeback. They have a lot to lose by scamming someone.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I just moved all of my stuff out of my house into storage and am trying to buy a house. In the process, I started looking at a few of my old DS shoes that would be better served helping me get a down payment on a house rather than collecting dust. I tried to get a gauge on what they're worth, but it doesn't seem worth it to take a flyer on some random buyer on ebay that will try and scam me. I'd try and do what OP is doing, but don't feel comfortable shipping before receiving payment.

That's any transaction. You're never secure as a seller in an online transaction. Anyone can say you sent them a box of rocks. To me sole supremacy is just the lesser of the two evils. They're easy to find if something did happen.
