Shipping boxes for shoes?

Where does everyone get them? Clearly the ones from USPS don't fit a single shoe

Just wondering, been having to ship shoes out and I'm outta old NDC/FNL boxes

It's about 3 bucks per box but just tack it on the shipping costs.

This is how I shipped almost all of my shoes that I sold. It fit most of my size 13 boxes but sometimes I had to make some extra modifications with the larger ones. Only downside is that you might run into an employee who won't let you send it flat rate priority because technically you're not allowed to make modifications to their boxes. But at least you won't have to pay for any boxes.

I usually just taped the box shut with red tape and slapped the shipping label on the box. Did the same for my '94 Retro 3's and the seller got mad even though it was free shipping

There are boxes of that size that aren't flat rate that you can modify and is allowed. I had to learn the hard way, tried to modify the flat rate and they didn't let me ship it.

Always double box, this is one of those unwritten don't do's. I would be kind of irked if a seller did this to me since I store shoes in the box, even though it's just a box, it's like, cmon man...

If you run into problems from the post office regarding modifying the USPS Priority box, just cover / wrap the modded box with paper grocery bag.

There's a lot of box city locations in my area, and the guys at the counter know their sizes for shoe shipping. I had one guy try to buy the shoes I was trying to ship out a couple months back

I thought double boxing was common sense. How you gonna just tape the shoe box up and slap a label on top and ship them out? Ridiculous.

Double-boxing should be the standard. Taping up the shoe box and making it wrapped in tape only encourages wandering eyes to steal the box even more.

I always write on the box, "Nothing expensive in here" or "Please don't steal me."

That usually gets the point across.

Post Office should have an issue with you using a modified box. You won't be able to ship it at the flat-rate of the box, but you can still buy priority shipping (or standard).

Hasn't affected me yet.

I didn't have a fragile labeled box before so one time when I shipped some expensive glasses I just wrote on the box, "Expensive glass, please don't drop."

It arrived to the buyer fine.
