I recently bought a pair of Jordan 2011s and on the box over the jumpman logo it's marked X.

Do you have a picture. Where is the X exactly? Also where did you buy them from?
A lot of shoes sold in Asia (Korea and China that I know of) add an X to denote a shoe as having an XDR outsole. I know a few pairs of XDR Kobes sol here in Korea were marked as 'Kobe VI X'
Above the logo though, I'm not sure.

this is the picture I have left. I sold it to another guy without noticing the mark. the guy tells me what's with the x.

Oh, that is completely not what I thought. From here, it looks like someone just wrote on it with pen. This could have been at the factory, at the store, done by the previous owner, etc. I doubt it means anything other than someone decided to write on the box. \
