I'm pretty much done with buying sneakers..I've realized that being 35 with 175 pairs of shoes is pointless, so I started to sell what I could..Down to about 85 pairs now and the only reason I have that much is cause people don't want to buy vnds shoes..You just get to a point where between the price hikes, bad quality, and multiple re re retros it just makes it overkill..I'll always love shoes and I'll always get a pair or two a year, if I really have a desire for the shoe, but the "collecting" part of it is done for me..I'd rather spend money on my son anyway..Besides what the hell am I supposed to do with all these shoes when I'm 55 or 60?..
Wear them obviously . I battle with about what to keep also. I have about 75 pairs and that's over a 12 year span. I decided to keep all of them. There are a few I want, and that's it. The current prices are definitely a deterrent. As I mentioned earlier, being selective is key. Not many people have thay eye, they just buy everything. The desire should never go away. I once saw a man with metallic blue AJ I's. He was in his 80's. I didn't know whether to at the shoe, or the fact that an 80 something year old man is walking around with these on. If I can find the pic, I'll post it.
