Shoe Storage

Hey, I am finally to the point where I need to buy/create a proper shelf for my shoes. I am right around only 60 pairs and my collection is growing slowly. So what I am asking is what does everyone else use to hold their shoes?

What ever you do don't get them "50-pair shoe racks", I bought two, had them side by side and overtime it started to crumble.  I then tried tying them together but the damage was already done.  All my sneakers were too heavy for it, it's best suitable for women shoes.
